EXHIBITION: ŠIBENKA 82/83 – CHAMPIONS FOR A NIGHT
The Museum and Memorial Center Dražen Petrović invites you to visit the new educational and informative exhibition entitled Šibenka 82/83 – champion for a night, which is set up on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the deprivation of the title of Yugoslav champion from the Basketball Club Šibenka.
Through a combination of texts, photographs and newspaper articles, the exhibition provides an overview of the most important events in the history of BC Šibenka, from the foundation of the Basketball Club Šibenik at the end of 1973 to the taking away of the title of Yugoslav champions, which was won on 9 April 1983 with an 83 : 82 victory against the Basketball Club Bosna.
The setting up of the exhibition was significantly helped by Branko Bukić, Nenad Amanović, Aleksandar Petrović, Fabjan Žurić, Joško Šupe, Željko Marelja, Živko Ljubojević and Biserka Petrović, the living witnesses of Šibenka's successes, whose testimonies you can listen as part of the exhibition.
The exhibition will be on display until the end of 2023 and can be viewed during the museum's working hours.
